Who We Are
Founded in 2020, the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) emerged as a transformative political force in Sri Lanka, united under the leadership of Sajith Premadasa. Rooted in the legacy of his father, President Ranasinghe Premadasa, the party champions inclusive development and accountable governance.
As the primary opposition party in Sri Lanka's Parliament, SJB fights for economic reforms, social equity, housing rights, and the restoration of democratic institutions — giving voice to millions who demand a better future.
